PARTNERS & SUPPORTERS

The profound and long-term life-changing difference your donation and support makes to a child and their family cannot be overstated. Individuals and companies can help children by supporting or partnering with Children Left Behind.

INDIVIDUALS:

People from all walks of life can contribute and experience the joy of helping a child, confident that their generosity has real impact and results in markedly improving a child’s future and making the world a better place.

Individual people can help a child through donations, regular giving programs and at a local level by volunteering at Children Left Behind events. Many individuals also host fundraising events or take part in personal challenges to raise funds to help children through Children Left Behind.

COMPANIES AND CORPORATES:

Children Left Behind offers a wide range of opportunities for businesses to assist children, ranging from corporate volunteering at a local level, workplace giving programs to multi-faceted sponsor and partner programs.

According to the Harvard Kennedy School’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, there has been a sharp escalation in the social roles corporations are expected to play. This expectation should not be seen as a burden but as an opportunity. Approached in the right way, good social responsibility can be a source of engagement with employees and customers, innovation and competitive advantage. Here are some ways your company can be involved.

Workplace Giving:

Workplace giving is a simple yet powerful way for employees to assist children through the delivery of essential equipment and services to individual kids and children’s organizations. Once established, workplace giving provides the company, employees and Children Left Behind a low-cost, low-maintenance way to support children.

Sponsorship:

Sponsorship comes in many forms, from sponsoring fundraising materials, staff and supporter training, business supplies, advertising and marketing through to sponsoring one of Children Left Behind’s high profile events or iconic corporate functions. Sponsorship delivers a positive image to your company, helps you reach a new audience, increases brand awareness, motivates staff and customers and grows your brand equity.

Cause-Related Marketing/Promotions:

Cause-related marketing brings together the marketing objectives of a company and the objectives of Children Left Behind to form a mutually beneficial partnership. Cause-related marketing partnerships provide a unique selling point, engage staff and customers and brand equity while delivering a very real difference to children in your community. For Children Left Behind, cause-related marketing provides awareness of what Children Left Behind does, why Children Left Behind does it and the very real positive impact Children Left Behind’s work has on children, as well as raising vital funds to be able to help more children.

Gifts and Services In-Kind:

Gifts and services in-kind are a vital element in enabling Children Left Behind to meet its vision and mission. Gifts of auction and raffle prizes for events, business skills such as legal or accountancy advice or technology and office items are all necessary to successfully deliver Children Left Behind’s vision and mission.
